It depends on the volume and temperature you have chosen. For 240 ml at 55°C the heating time is usually several minutes from room temperature. For 350 ml up to 100°C it may take longer. Use the calculator on the page to see how many heats you get per fill based on your usual usage.
It depends on your usual volume and temperature. For cups of tea or coffee at drinking temperatures (55-80°C) you can get several brews per fill. The certified maximum yield is 2 full 350 ml cycles up to 100°C. For smaller everyday uses, the number of uses is higher. The interactive calculator on this page gives you an estimate for your specific case.
The interior of the Boiljet is made of food safe SUS304 stainless steel, with no plastic in direct contact with water. The lid has a membrane that safely releases the steam pressure. The system is protected against liquid starvation: if it detects that there is no water, it stops automatically. When the selected temperature is reached, Boiljet switches itself off.
The regulations on batteries in hand luggage vary from airline to airline and from country to country. We recommend that you check the conditions of your airline before your trip. In general, devices with lithium batteries should be carried in the cabin and not in the hold. Always empty your water before boarding.
The stainless steel interior is easy to clean with water and a little neutral soap. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before reuse or storage. Do not immerse the unit in water, especially the base where the electronics are located. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
Boiljet is designed for water and aqueous liquids. You can use it to prepare tea, instant coffee, matcha, chai, instant oatmeal, noodles, hot chocolate or mulled wine, among others.
